What's the best way to source a (scrap) bonnet for car?

Friend's car is 20 years old, but nothing wrong with it apart from a smallish, rusty hole in the bonnet. She wants to find a replacement bonnet, but as it's an old car she needs to source one probably from a scrap merchant. Does anyone know if there is some way to put out a nationwide request for a specific car part like this?

There are online scrap merchants who will bid to supply your friend’s bonnet - we did it for an obscure bit of DS ancient fiesta. Google is your friend.

Yep I agree. Google and ring around scrap merchants

You might also be able to get the hole ground down to bare metal, filled with new metal from a welder, sanded smooth and painted - no new bonnet. Even if you get a new old one, it'll need painting.

So perhaps also google for car accident damage repair workshops.
