LegoLand

Yay, we're going to LegoLand (hopefully).

A few questions I thought I could ask if anyone knows

(1) we're bringing a packed lunch. Any recommendations around Duplo World to sit and eat?

(2) We were silly and rented a LegoLand buggy! (I thought it was like Gatwick airport!!) I can't tell from the photos - do they have little hooks on the back for bags? any place below to store bags

(3) RE: Picnic bag, has anything ever been confiscated at the gate - I'm thinking like glass bottles. There is no guidance on the website...

(4) We have 2 adults, 1 6 year old and 1 2 1/2 year old. Adults will split up so that 2 1/2 year old and 6 year old can go on different rides. We have reserve and ride for all 4. Do you know if we are able to use it across many different rides? Or is there a limit?

(5) We have been trying to download our tickets onto the app and it says check your internet connection (there are no internet issues...) I called them up and they said this is because we have reserve and ride on our ticket which will only load on the day. So we can only link our day tickets on the day we are going to legoland - has anyone else ever been told this??

(6) PS - I'm going on a hot day - so we're going to that splash part in Duplo World. Imagine they have places to change into bathers? They say adults also have to wear bathers! I guess I'll be carrying around a wet towel for the afternoon...

I've been and here are the answers:

Someone recommended elsewhere the stage. It is an amazing place to eat as it is shaded and very very cool in the heat (if you go on a hot day)

(2) We were silly and rented a LegoLand buggy! (I thought it was like Gatwick airport!!) I can't tell from the photos - do they have little hooks on the back for bags? any place below to store bags
There is only a handle at the back for long handles so if you have a long strap, use that.

(3) RE: Picnic bag, has anything ever been confiscated at the gate - I'm thinking like glass bottles. There is no guidance on the website...
Bags are checked at the gate. We decanted all our drinks (including frozen gazpacho) into plastic bottles before travel. none were confiscated

(4) We have 2 adults, 1 6 year old and 1 2 1/2 year old. Adults will split up so that 2 1/2 year old and 6 year old can go on different rides. We have reserve and ride for all 4. Do you know if we are able to use it across many different rides? Or is there a limit?
Yes, you absolutely can. When you reserve a ride, you can select how many you want to use. So you can just select 2 We did this for the L Drivers and the junior drivers - using 2 for each and having it at the same time. You just have to log in using the same account on 2 different phones.

(5) We have been trying to download our tickets onto the app and it says check your internet connection (there are no internet issues...) The LegoLand operator was incorrect. On the day the tickets still didn't download and i thought this would be the case.

they do but there is no need. If you bring towels or wear a long dress, you can change that way. the changing rooms were almost always occupied and there isn't a really queue system for the rooms. We just changed by our buggy.
Also, Tower is for older kids and the splash is for any ages and is lower. Tower has a bit of a queue, and then I think 20 mins play time. Splash sometimes gets over-crowded and I heard there was a 1 in / 1 out policy but could see no attendent enforcing. Splash was amazing by the way. I didn't get to see Tower sadly but understand once you get in, there is another queue for the long slide so you can either use that time doing other tower stuff or queueing....

Ughhhh unbearable in the heat of today

And so many kids having meltdowns

What a beautiful location

We were quoted 350 per night for hotel
So got a hotel 40 mins away by taxi so much easier

Glad we went but not sure we would go back too much
