Getting music onto my iPhone SE

Can anyone explain to me, in words of one syllable, how to get music onto my iPhone?

I have an iPhone SE 2020 which I never use for listening to music. I've had a few stabs at using iTunes, but am utterly defeated by it.

I have several collections of mp3s on my Google Drive, that I would like to listen to on my phone. How do I download them?
