Please tell me what it is!

My children are getting older and my bed is getting noisier with age. I don’t want to traumatise them but at the same time I do want to have a sex life.

Not talking swinging from the chandeliers, just a sneaky late night/early morning shag.

My last bed was quiet as a church mouse but the one I’ve had for a few years looks nice but my god it’s creaky.

Sadly my house isn’t very big and neither is my budget, but I think this could be worth the investment.

get a screwdriver and tighten all screws

If you don't mind something very basic looking this IKEA bed is solid.

I don’t mind basic as long as it’s quiet! My current one is an ikea one but it’s so bloody noisy, it’s getting worse but tbh it was noisy right from the start so not sure tightening the screws will help too much.

Is it an ikea Malm by any chance?!? No advice but mine is exactly the same - can't even roll over without it groaning!

No it’s this one that I have. Looking at the spindly legs it was never going to be a good idea was it 🤦‍♀️

That’s good to know, 2 votes so far for that one then! What about mattresses, I currently have one with springs, would memory foam be sneakier?

Oh actually that one doesn’t appear to be available either for collection or delivery in king size so back to the drawing board there 😞

My bed is completely silent. I've not been in a squeaky bed since I was a student!

Just a normal divan with the best mattress we could afford. Think it's a Heritage mattress with a built in quilted topper thing.
