I was wondering what the smallest car is you can fit at least 3 ideally 4 adults in the back in comfort

4 adults in the back of a small car?

No idea! 🤷🏼‍♀️

PancakesWithCheese · 10/08/2022 10:38

4 adults? Is this some sort of challenge?

Ford Grand C-Max is a small 7 seater and if you have the middle seat permanently down it means people can get to the back row of seats easily enough. But it’s effectively a 6-seater in that mode.

Not great leg-room wise in the back row though.

OopsTooLate · 10/08/2022 10:46

We've had a C-Max and a VW Touran, much prefer the Touran.

Icedlatteplease · 10/08/2022 11:12

How much does it cost you to fill the tank?

Sorry that was meant to be on the cmax and touran

Is this some sort of challenge?

Yes life is at the moment. I'm trying to figure out if there is a better way

I'm currently looking for a car with three nice seats in the back and have found the Renault scenic, they have a grand which is 7 seats too. I had a cmax and wouldn’t recommend it.

There isn't one. DIL has the Audi 7 that's three rows. You're looking at minibus style friend with four kids has a Mercede minibus

I did wonder if that might be the case. My mid sized skoda was perfect for just the three of us, however now DS has 2 carers it feels small. we just about fit but I miss taking Grandparents with us and it is a squish when I take him the carers and my DD out.
I'm just not sure I can justify getting a bigger car

Friends family of five drive from Wales to Northumberland to visit family. They bring granola back sometimes. It's lasted them years

justasking111 · 10/08/2022 18:48

Grandparents not granola 🤣

Our 15yo Touran costs just under £100 to fill up at the moment, that's diesel (£1.89/ltr here at the moment).

We've had it for about 11 years now and it's been our sole car for the last 3 years. 115000 miles on the clock.
Only needed a few bits replacing so far (touch wood!!) and the turbo filter cleaning every now and then, which DH can do (ex car trade).

OopsTooLate · 10/08/2022 20:30

Yes, same as Dinosapple!
