I found out half an hour ago my gorgeous gorgeous cat Jackson has died (vets called, he was run over) and I'm so so sad.

Theres no point to this thead just need a hand hold maybe. He was not even 2.
Can't stop crying.

My 4 year old DS is at nursery, although he wasn't mega mega close to the cat (cat liked staying out alot), he did love him and I'm not sure how to word it. I don't want to mention heaven or gone to sleep.

Aw I’m so sorry. What a nasty shock for you. RIP Jackson.

Could you just be honest? Tell him Jackson died. Tell him he didn’t suffer. Or tell him the vet tried to help him but had to pts?

Yeah I think I will just say he had an accident and has died. Not sure how to tell him without bursting into tears though. I hate this so much.

Aww I'm so sorry. What a shock
I'd tell your DS simply " Jackson has died, he had an accident and didn't suffer"
That way he won't wonder if he's coming backSad

Yes thank you, I think this is what I'll say.
