Drop off/pick up fee, Gatwick. Forgot to pay!

Picked DD up the Sunday before last and completely forgot to pay online. Tried to do it 2 days later and it wouldn’t recognise my number plate.

I would have expected the fine by now but no sign of it. Anyone else had this, how long did it take?

I know it’s boring but anyone?

I did this at Heathrow recently. It took over 14 days to get the letter ( thought I’d got away with it😩) the fine was £80 or £40 if I paid in certain amount of time

Oh! 14 days is a long time. Damn it’ll be with me soon then 🤦‍♀️

Yep I had this, tried to pay when I actually remembered a few days later, but there's no grace period. I thought I'd got away with it as they didn't send a letter for ages. Ended up paying £80 due to my brain of mush. I've now set myself up on autopay for Gatwick and Heathrow.
