Wedding present ideas

If you were getting married, in your thirties, lived together for almost 10 years so have everything you need for the house. But recently moved to a bigger one you are renovating. No children yet but probably won’t be long - what would you really, really love as a wedding present? Budget up to £150-200

Money!!

I’d appreciate a voucher for a nice restaurant / experience-type thing as this would be the kind of thing I was cutting down on so I could spend money on the house. It would feel like a real treat and get us both out of the house.

They specifically said a surprise and definitely not money!

I’d go with the voucher then, we just got married and got a few vouchers which were gratefully received!

A voucher for a gorgeous meal somewhere reasonably local Smile

AnnaMagnani · 09/08/2022 10:22

They may have asked for A Surprise but they may feel less keen when 50 ornaments and pictures arrive, none of which are to their taste and all of which they have to display when the gifter visits 😂

Vouchers for a chef delivery meal or DIY store vouchers.

Vouchers for a restaurant you know they love or an IOU to cover the cost of a meal out

AmbushedByCake1 · 09/08/2022 10:27

Restaurant voucher. So they can have a really decadent meal!

TheLovleyChebbyMcGee · 09/08/2022 10:35

Are they foodies? Restaurant vouchers or a nice appliance, maybe a pizza oven? Or a nice bottle of gin/whiskey each if they drink that?

Voucher for an art gallery or lovely restaurant or a theatre/ticketmaster.

Or a fabulous toaster.
