Tips on addressing depression at work TW Depression

traffic post and wasn’t sure where to put
short version - I’m getting stressed by work and I know there is an issue. I need to work out how to address this before it affects performance. It’s dealing with targets that are set nationally. I have bad thoughts feel out of control. I don’t feel the depression during times when I’m talking to clients so pushing myself with less breaks. I probably need to speak to manager but don’t know how
Tips appreciated.
I’ll post long version in next post

longer version
I have generally well controlled depression (meds).

im getting stressed.
My employer wouldn’t guess (currently) but I have had to leave jobs in the past due to MH. It’s a set of national targets so not my particular office.

not coping well during the day -
thoughts that I can’t cope/ useless/worse (I won’t write except to reassure that I am safe from myself). The time I don’t think is during the actual work so I’m pushing myself, not taking breaks - today I had lunch at 3pm.

That fulfils one target of being available for clients on the helpline 80% of the time

However second target is quality. Obviously most important for the clients.
But it can affect the whole office - random cases reviewed and a single bad one can lead to special measures for everyone. Would feel so much better if thry looked at 3 or 4 different people if the random was bad.

last target I can’t control- we need to be talking to people that are part of our project 6 a day. I can’t control how long each call is. Could be up to 2hrs I also can’t control whether the people who call need put us or another service.
