Yes it's breaking news on Sky
She'd had cancer for over 30 years
Such a good actress and singer.
She was 73

WildRosie · 08/08/2022 20:46

She had certainly suffered from breast cancer in the past. Too bad. A real English star.

Very sad news she's a legend. Great actress with a lovely voice and seemed a nice lady too.
RIP ❤️

Goggin · 08/08/2022 21:11

She's had breast cancer for a long time. I was a teenager when Grease came out and and my friends and I were obsessed. I played the album over and over. We're all getting old..... May she RIP. A sweet lady.

xsquared · 08/08/2022 21:33

Very sad news.

FitYeDaeinYeMadRadge · 08/08/2022 21:36

I remember queuing round the block to see Grease when I was a nipper. Got all dressed up, it was a real occasion.

she seemed so classy, so beautiful and what a voice. Rest in peace, no more pain. Sad news.

Wasn't she Australian?

I think she was born in the UK

So sad. She was my idol from when I was v young 😔

SundayTeatime · 08/08/2022 22:12

It is so sad, but not not a shock. She’d been living with metastatic breast cancer for about five years, which is double the average. Lovely woman.

CheerUpSleepyGene · 08/08/2022 22:15

RIP beautiful lady. Thank you for all the wonderful work you did for cancer care and animal welfare xx
