Any advice on remote work?

I have been inspired to write this after seeing a few other posts on here in the past few months.

After working my socks of for years I am burnt out and I want a different life. I have never really enjoyed my work. I used to live abroad when I was in my early 20s and loved it (back when we were in the EU!) I got a job in a hotel and it was fantastic.

I have always dreamed of travelling around the world and making money from my laptop.

Do you know of any business I can start where I can do this sort of thing? I would like to work on really creative work. I am willing to be patient and wait for the right idea. I know I am asking for a lot.

I don't want a physical product business as I struggle to understand operations and shipping and I don't want to have to chat face to face on zoom every day as I am very introverted and it drains me.

I know lots of general business skills but am not a marketing expert. My hobby is writing comedy sketches for women.

I would need to earn about £60k a year to travel between countries without having to stay in a hostel according to a guy I met at a conference three years ago who did this full time and created travel videos (he was basically an influencer).

Visas are not an issue because I can border hop. A friend of a friend does it and doesn't stay in a single country too long. I would give myself a couple of years to set this business up but would like to start now.

I would be really open to a remote job but are these even a thing? My old company ordered us all back to the UK a few months into covid when we were still working from home because the insurance was too expensive if we worked abroad. I was in the UK but a few colleagues quit as they have moved abroad.

I have a bit of money saved but I wouldn't start my adventure without a regular income.

I would just really love to enjoy what I do every day.
