Playing audio books on Alexa in other languages?

Is this possible

I want to hear audio books, just in the background on Alexa but not in English as Im trying to learn Spanish and just want the rhythm and sounds in my head

We havent got a radio any more so I had hoped to tune into Spanish talk radio but dont seem to know how to do this, or what station it would be anyway, I thought I could do that on Alexa but when I google, the answers are more about changing Alexa to Spanish and thats not what I want as I cant speak it

I dont want daily lessons on it either Im having lessons elsewhere, I just want a method by which I listen to it in the house in the background

Any ideas?

You would need to buy the audiobook in Spanish from Amazon, then lay via Alexa

For the radio, ask for a specific Spanish station.

I googled and it told me to tell Alexa to speak English and Spanish

Honestly we have these bloody things all over the house, I hate them and then the one time they could be used for something useful they are a let down

You don't need Alexa to speak Spanish, as Alexa isn't a translator. You need to buy a Spanish audiobook, which will be read through an Alexios device

I just want to have either a Spanish talk radio station playing or Spanish dialogue, I dont want a conversation or translation, I just want the speech in the background. But we dont have a radio in the house.

I thought if I ask for the book my partners currently got on it in spanish she could do that but apparently not.

Well she just started translating a conversation and saved it in the 'cloud'!!

I dont care how it happens, I just thought it would play Spanish radio then I found that wasnt happening or I wasnt asking for the right thing, or dont know how to ask for the right thing.

I dont care what Im listening to, its just about hearing the language.

I have now found helpfully that my OH can order the spanish language books and hopefully they will play on the alexa thing.

The James Bond series seem to be good, each of them is about 8 hours long!

For what it's worth Alexa will play Spanish radio, once you have the radio skill enabled trough something like tunein or mytuner.

I'm learning Spanish through duolingo which has stories, that Alexa will also play.

Put it on your phone and play it through Alexa.
