Just seen wasps swarming around the eves of my prouch. Should I leave or get removed. Have googled and mixture of info, some say leave some say remove.

Come September when they are all dying and angry and buzzing around your porch will you be able to get in & out safely?

I had one solitary wasp trying to build its nest in my shed earlier in the year. I couldn’t even reach in to get anything without it dive bombing me and chasing me out-I would not want to be trying to get past a nest with dozens (or more!) of them doing that at me.

I had a nest outside my patio door just a Joyce head height. Had to remove it as could not leave door open. Keep an eye on how many - we didn't have many first day then next couple it got more. Took 20 minutes to remove and no sign of them since.

Leave if you can comfortably. They are good insects. The nest only lasts for few months. We have one on our front drive, had them in garden in past.

Ive read they chew the wood to build the nests and could come into the loft etc.

Im getting it sorted tomorrow

We get wasps nests somewhere new every year, ds and his friends have been stung more than once so if its too near the doors or garden we get rid of them.

dh waits until dusk when they are less active, then puffs the area/nest with wasp power and he has never been stung.

Good god woman kill them all.

Nasty little fuckers that sting any opportunity they get. I wish them extinct every year lol.

All done, should be gone by tomorrow!!!
