What little unexpected things have cheered you up

Was just wondering what good things have happened to you guys when you weren't really expecting much (kind of like taking a £15 top to the cashier and then it's only £6 example lol)

So I needed an upgrade on my mobile
iPhone 7plus, had it 4 years and it's on its last legs but upgrade isn't due until April 2023

So I called my phone provider to ask if I could pay it off early in a few months and get an IPhone 12 max
The guy was so nice and he said he would check for me.
LSS - the dude WAIVED the £80 left on my contract and the upfront fee AND gave me 25% nhs discount off the tariff ANNNNNND accessories ANNNND 6 months free Prime video
So I get a new phone on Monday

I know it's not really important in the grand scheme of things but it cheered me up today

Do you guys have any?

Bought first home with my partner. Got the keys a couple of weeks ago when we got in the sellers had left a card with a lovely message and a bottle of bubbly. It was such a kind thing to do.

This is a really good idea for a thread, makes you think about what to be grateful for! Having said that I can't think of any personally of the top of my head!! Not unexpected anyway.

@FizzyStream - so true. I was stressing about my phone situation and being able to afford it so having this happen was so nice and a massive relief
