I need help, I've got a 1st birthday party in two week, which is joint for 3 boys. Any ideas for some cheaper present ideas as there is 3 of them?

Thank you!

I like books as presents. You can get really lovely noisy ones or fabric flap ones or pull and slide books that are great for that age. The noisy ones are probably more like £10-12 but the others £8 or less.

Otherwise you could always get them some crayons and colouring books/paper? There are some crayola crayons which are lovely and chunky for 12m+ and they will always get used up eventually.

Wooden puzzles are nice too, even if they don't understand what animal is what etc, they may enjoy taking the pieces out and slotting them back in, DD is 2 now and loves a puzzle.

My DD got a lot of shape sorters, teddies, clothes for her first birthday.

What's your budget?

Well 1 year olds won't actually realise it's their birthday so I personally think it doesn't matter if you just bring a card if money is tight. Other cheaper ideas, books (works does 3 for £5) or small vehicles

I'd be happy spending £10 each at the most I think. It's just fallen at birthday busy month.
Great ideas already thank you, i didn't even think of the crayons etc.
I normally do books but they all had a joint christening and asked for books as presents at that so I think they'll be quite booked out x

you could get a wooden shape sorter for £9 from argos, also potentially one of those 3 piece wooden puzzles. bath toys could also be a great idea.

Argos often do a 3 for 2, so you could look into that?

Or as someone has said before, The Works is pretty good. How about a nice puzzle each or something?

a friend got this recently and looks 5 times the price! think it’s a grimms or similar lookalike - building blocks in tray,

1 year old aren’t into crayons really. Foil blankets go down well and are very cheap. Disco lights too are £8-10 on Amazon and great for baby distractions!
