Subreddit for porn?

Ishacoco · 06/08/2022 20:02

My DP confessed a while ago that he uses subreddit forums for porn. I've never used Reddit but from what I understand each subreddit has a specific topic? Like, 'knitting' or 'boxing'. So my question is whether he's signed up to certain topics or whether there's just a general 'porn' one? He has said in the past that he uses it because it 'filters out a load of crap'. He doesn't have the best track record with the truth though.

I don't want to search myself because the kids use my phone and laptop.

There's a subreddit for any kink you could think off. Plus all the things that you didn't think off 😂

There’s lots. I would ask for more information from him as there’s some vile things on there eg a subreddit where people post photos of people they know and celebrities as ask other users ‘what would you do to her’ and they get very in-depth replies. There was a woman asking for help on a relationships forum not so long ago as her husband was posting photos of her, his sister, his mother, his niece, his coworkers, her best friend, celebrities etc. So you need to know what it is I think as some people are fine with certain things and not others. Although if you’re not happy with any porn in the relationship, obviously you don’t need any more information.

So he will have searched for "big breasts" for example? There will have been some search terms involved?

He would’ve had to search something. That could be as generic as ‘porn’ to as specific as ‘blondes in stockings’.

Reddit is also set to not show that kind of content when you sign up, you need to change 2 or 3 settings eg to show over 18 content and to unblur it. It’s not something you accidentally find on Reddit. I use it for work related topics and news and I’ve never seen so much as a woman in a bikini in the years I’ve been on there.

I’m sorry you’re going through this.

Is there a way Reddit history can get there without being viewed?

If it's being accessed through an app, you might not have to opt into 18+ content. I use the Reddit is Fun app, never opted into NSFW stuff, but if I look at the top r/all posts of the day, there's often a very explicit picture/gif/video somewhere near the top.

No, sorry. It’s the same as your internet browser history. If there’s something in it, it’s because it’s been viewed.

I’m going to say yes. If I’m scrolling, say I look at post number one and 7, it might show me I looked at a couple of other posts in between too, even though I didn’t click on them.

HOWEVER I would not be able to view anything from ‘blondes in stockings’ unless I had deliberately visited that sub to have a look, OR it was in my general feed (which would only happen if I deliberately joined that sub).

I think both like he can search certain topics but also follow certain subreddits that would show up on his feed.
