Would a wasp trap also attract and kill bees?

Really enjoy all the different types of bee in the garden, but the past week we’ve been invaded by wasps. Can’t sit outside or leave the windows open as get dive bombed. The bees you can sit 1ft away from and get left alone.
have bought this wasp trap, will it only attract the wasps or will it kill the bees as well? As I don’t want to use it if so but I would like to be able to sit back out amongst the bees!

We've only caught wasps and flies in ours, never any bees

Have you watched them to see where they are going from and to? Sounds like you might have a large nest of them somewhere nearby if you've got that many in the garden.

They only seem interested in the flowers on the holly tree, no other plants. But then dive bomb you if you go near by. I would like to not have to cut it down, they don’t seem interested in anything else. I’ll try the traps maybe and keep a very close eye and take down if get any bees. I love the bees in the lawn/lavender even the solitary ones living in the house walls.

OP, is that the exact one you bought? It says they're refills, not the actual trap, which is sold separately (unless I'm mistaken).

I’ve got those refills and bought similar traps which came with a sugar/beer recipe or use this one, which says non toxic and takes 24hours to work….
