Just been gifted an air fryer. Not a clue what to cook in it??

Recommend me your best foods for the fryer!

Anything you would normally cook in oven, its so much quicker and cheaper. Still experimenting and tried stale french bread last night, with a little butter and garlic, made amazing croutons. Bread would normally have gone in the bin.

If your air fryer is large enough, a 1 kg whole chicken will do in about 35 minutes and is absolutely delicious.

Air fryer chips - need minimal oil but come out crispy on the outside, soft on the inside.

Jacket potatoes - (depending on size) about 5 mins in microwave and 30 mins in air fryer.

Yes I think it's a 10litre model

I love mine- I have two an Air Fryer and an Air Fryer Oven.

I cook meat, fish, veggies, chips etc.

I am going to bake muffins on a not busy day. I have the muffin mix ready to go. Grin

Sausages! They get so crispy so fast. Love my air fryer and it's so much faster than the oven. Uses loads less energy too.

And roasted new potatoes. Toss in olive oil, take about fifteen/twenty mins

@Dalekjastninerels - idiot here can you explain the different uses for each? I have never heard of an air fryer oven but thinking my fully electric oven and hob must be costing me loads and so need to investigate other options!

I am not sure what the actual difference is technically.

The oven I have is the Kitchen Couture 14 litre. I bought it from Amazon.

My round one is Anko. Bought in store at Kmart.

I use both for everything.

Anything that usually goes in the oven, it's so m in faster!

Have a look at the Instagram page 'bored of lunch'. It's great for air fryer recipes
