We have a Basset hound. He is a much adored and loved family member and is 3 now.

We need a new kitchen bin and I am looking at a simply human one with touch bar up the top. Dh goes.. "how long do you think it will take Conkers to work out how to open that?"

Stuff I didnt realise I would be considering as a pet owner 😁

What are yours?

Also this is obviously a light hearted thread. Picture for cuteness

Oh my, what a beauty and such a good name!!

we have a 1 year old Dachshund and I didn’t expect to be considering what blinds to order since he has tied himself up in our floor to ceiling ones so often that they are now knackered and need replacing!

Here is Brodie also known as Brodie dog face!

I love that and no blinds would not be something I would think about with regard to pet owning

That next time we will get wooden (or kryptonite!) framed beds, as the divan base has been ripped to shreds by the hooded claw AKA our ragdoll cat.

pictured here sleeping the sleep of the (un)righteous.
