I just want to tell you all that Dreamies (cat treats) are called Catisfactions in France and I have never been so satisfied by a brand name in my life. Can anyone better that?

That's brilliant 😂
There's a dog grooming parlour in my area called Shampooch, which I thought was quite funny, but I don't think it tops yours 😂

Oh, I like that! Hairdressers (whether man or beast) seem to be tied with fish and chip shops in the name game... I give you A Fish Called Rhondda in Ton Pentre 🤭

About 30 years ago, in East Sussex a lady established a delicatessen on the coast. Many of the products were delivered fresh from France which of course was a short trip away. At the time, fitness and health were just kicking in, so too were the benefits of the common market.

Her brand was Deli France. Her packaging and placement played on the words Deliverance (as in transferring from unhealthy to healthy food, deliver my body to a healthier regime), which was also vocalised as "deli-fer-ance" in a French accent. It worked well at the time.

There are two other brand names I have dealt with.

Wright Hassall. This is a legal practice set up in Leamington Spa in the late 19th Century when the town became rich as a spa town on the back of the Industrial Revolution. They are still going from strength to strength today. The brand name is what you make of it.

Crook & Blight. An estate agent's in South Wales. I have dealt with them also, many years ago. The name is perfect for many if not most estate agents. Not when I dealt with them on behalf of an elderly client. They were considerate and professional.

I am a chef from the west country and I love cooking poultry dishes with an alcohol twist. At weekends my wife and I shoot hard core films in the kitchen.
