Rage - not sure this is normal

I’ve noticed in the past 6-9 months, and especially lately, a rage takes hold of me for a minute or two. It’s not just anger - it’s literal rage that I have to control otherwise I will scream at the top of my lungs. It’s scary when it passes.

It’s usually in response to something that annoys me but my reaction is disproportionate - or maybe it’s because I am less tolerant of shit like I used to be.

I am 38. Could it be perimenopause? I do have some stresses in life but I’ve never experienced this kind of rage before.

I feel your pain, I’m peri and I get The Rage.

I’ve not been out of control of my emotions since I was a teen. So this is quite unexpected and horrible. I get sooo angry I can barely control myself. Over nothing.

I feel is rising and it’s damn near impossible to rein it in. The feeling of it rising is like the hot flushes. You feel it but you can’t control or stop it.

I have this. Really interested in hearing about others’ experiences. It feels so lonely.
