Peanut Butter

I am never sure if it's right to take peanut butter sandwiches with us on a picnic. The children's schools are nut free so would never send them to school. I only ever give them nuts or nut products at home. But we are going to a farm park which will be busy and my youngest asked for peanut butter sandwiches in his lunch. But is it ok to do that? If there are people there with allergies to nuts and just breathing it in could cause a reaction, could that happen in a picnic situation? I realise this probably sounds like a stupid question!

If you want to be super conscious then don’t take them, but your kids should be able to have them if they want. Just make sure they eat them outside and you’re careful with any left overs.
