Moving to. Carlisle

We are thinking of moving to Carlisle. Which areas should we consider and which should we avoid. We would be able to afford a house or bungalow up to about £200,000 not to large two or three bedrooms.

would you want to live near the city centre or more out in the sticks? There are some lovely little villages with the city centre only a 20 min drive away. Best of both worlds.

tbh most of Carlisle is fine to move to but I prefer living a wee bit further out for a the country walks on your doorstep
