London to Leeds train

Hi all
is it worth going first class on this route in hopes of doing some work on the train?

the pics don't look great. But also I don't know how busy the route is especially in school holidays. Weekday travel, I freelance so client would pay standard fare and I'd pay the extra. Thank you.

I regularly work in standard class on this route and it’s perfectly doable. It sounds like you will be going against the work commute flow - there are a lot more people heading to London for work than to Leeds so you’ll benefit from that. The stretch from Doncaster to Leeds is often quite busy with local trips.
