The Hague? Good to visit?

Is the Hague nice to visit?

Very. Loved it! Lots of excellent museums, cafes restaurants etc.

Oh gosh yes, lots to do and see, easy to get around using the trams, and if you are a parkrunner you get a letter Z!

DH is a park runner but we wouldn't be there on a Saturday.

Is it pretty though?
We wouldn't have much time.

Yea it's a beautiful and very clean city. Easy to use public transport and lots to see (Escher gallery, the Mauritshuis museum that has the Girl with the Pearl earring in (& others of course)
Madurodam is an amazing miniature city (I visited without kids!)

Plus lots of great bars and restaurants too, and it has beaches!

Is there any particular area we should head for ? Because we are short on time? Somewhere to eat in a nice square perhaps?

I'm desperate to see girl pearl.
In fact this is why I'm trying to work the hauge into our trip!

Does that musuem get hugely busy do you know?
I don't want to book in advance just incase we can't make it.

When you say short on time, how much time exactly?

We did the Girl with a Pearl gallery on our visit - it wasn't terribly busy but that might be different at other times of the year. Tram out to Scheveningen and have a glass of something on the terrace of the Kurhaus Hotel. Wander through the De Passage shopping mall.

I went pre covid but in July and it wasn't horrifically busy at all. I went quite early in the day from memory.
