Talk to me about Ipad VS tablet please. Pros and Cons.... which do your children have?!

Depends on the age. I'd be fine with an older child having an iPad (12+?). Our 6 and 8 year olds have Amazon fire tablets because I can set limits and control apps on them for their ages. So we set time limits per content, and wake/sleep hours for weekdays and weekends. No arguing as once the tablet says their quota is up, it locks them out. No more "just 5 minutes!".

DDs have iPad minis.

Pros: they've lasted years (5+), family sharing/linked to my iPhone account etc, very easy to use, guided access to stop clicking away from screen

Cons: no cons for us, but they're more expensive than other tablets if cost is an issue

Mine are t into them mine got psp and Nintendo switch and that’s their thing

DD is 4 and used an amazon fire for educational games and videos. It's great for kids safety imo and we've had it 2 or 3 years with no issues. Get a good case and charging habits
