Speeding offence - court?

Nearly 3 yrs ago my daughter got caught speeding by a camera. She got a Notice of Intended Prosecution within 14 days. However she has never heard anything more and as mentioned it was nearly 3 years ago now.
she has not had any further offences of any kind.
will she still get a court date sometime ?

I wouldn’t expect so but it’s worth doing an online check of her driving license to make sure nothing’s gone on in the background that she wasn’t aware of. Assuming that her address was correct and she hasn’t moved etc there’s very little chance that letters have been sent and all got lost.

Did she respond to the NIP? It asks for the driver at the time of the offence. Did she admit she was the driver and return it?

I would definitely check with the local ticketing office to find out what happened. If someone doesn't respond it can get to the point that a warrant for arrest could be issued for non payment of fines.

Although she has moved, the letters would have come to my house if they didn’t make it to her new address.

yes, she responded to the NIP.
