... that's it really. Currently having a pleasant chat with a company that decided it was worth a try. Parcel was delivered 2 days before the tracking was updated, to a location that matches nowhere in the 500 metres of our road.

Apparently I'm "up myself" for not wanting to try the roads either side of ours.

To quote another MNer...

"There's EVRI chance you're not getting your parcel."

Good luck.

mine delivered today to my "outbuilding" - from the photo we could see it was the next door neighbour 🤷🏼‍♀️- I've got a ring doorbell - they never even came onto the drive and someone was home waiting in for the parcel.....

IncompleteSenten · 02/08/2022 17:24

I cannot believe they chose the name evri.

Even they must surely have known how that would go?

We'll lose evri other parcel
We'll dump evri parcel in your bin and never tell you it's there
Well let you down evri time.

At this point I can only assume they're trolling. 🤣

A parcel which I thought was lost forever has just been discovered stuffed inside my neighbour’s electrify meter 🙄

I'm sorry but I'm laughing so hard at ''Apparently I'm "up myself" for not wanting to try the roads either side of ours''.

I bought 3 identical items on ebay. They were posted together in 3 large boxes which were taped together with 3 tracking numbers. Evri tried to deliver 2 of them to another city, then tried to return them to the seller because I wasn't in (because I don't live in an industrial unit 60 miles away), and they lost the third.

PleaseMind · 02/08/2022 17:34

Wow that's shocking language. Evri are great round here.

vodkaredbullgirl · 02/08/2022 17:37

Well they lost my large gazebo, when I was sending it back to Amazon. When I contacted Amazon refunded me for the gazebo plus the postage I paid for.

I left a shitty review on Evri website.

They're delivering my Gousto boxes now and the driver made sure to put my box in the shade on one of the two hot days and also phoned me. So it's not all bad.

prampushingdownthehighst · 02/08/2022 17:47

We are very fortunate because our delivery driver is brilliant, she is very reliable < please don't ever leave >

serenghetti2011 · 02/08/2022 17:50

Dpd usually great delivered a high value parcel to my doorstep last week. Open road can easily be taken so was in waiting on it - it was raining and I got an alert saying it had been delivered on email and went to look nothing there. Furious
evri today next delivery didn’t even ring the bell - my son was in and usually the dog will bark a bit. I get they’ve got a time limit etc but it’s very frustrating

😁so, so true!
I currently have 4(!) different parcels missing in transit with them. According the tracking they all made it to the local hub, but haven't made it out of there.

balalake · 02/08/2022 17:54

Simple law could be enacted. You have to know the parcel carrier before any online order is placed, or you get the goods for free. Stops some of the scams for non-existent parcels.

Hermes and some of the others would lose a lot of business.

woodhill · 02/08/2022 17:54

My Evri deliveries are absolutely fine
