Two young boys, no marriage. She needs to leave him. I know people here are very knowledgable. What must she get in order before telling him?

She needs to work out where she will live, how she will afford it, and whether her income will cover her bills.

She should be able to get an illustrative figure for CM from the CMS website

Will she be able to buy out XP from the jointly owed house? Would XP be able to buy her out?

What are the likely child arrangements? What proportion of time with each parent will affect level of CM

It is best if she takes legal (and probably financial) advice, specific to her own individual circumstances
