Swollen lymph node

My son has swollen lymph node on his neck, I’ve been to the gp yesterday and they say if it’s still there in 2 weeks to take him back and not to worry, I can’t help but worry at the size of it. I’m wondering if I should go with a second opinion or wait the 2 weeks out and see if it disappears

I know that this post was a while ago, I just wanted to check in and ask what turned out to be the cause? I’m going through the same thing with my son, I raised this concern and the GP said to come back in two weeks
