Contemplating switching back to combined pill after nonstop bleeding on mini pill - anyone done the same?

I’ve been on cerazette for just over 6 weeks. I was put on it as I had non stop bleeding 6 months after having a baby - 2 normal periods initially then missed 2 cycles then had bleeding that wouldn’t stop and kept getting heavier. I took a course of noristherone (period delay pill) initially to stop the bleeding which worked for the month I was on it then 3 days after stopping had a tsunami like bleed which settled to low level bleeding. By that point I had been on cerazette for 2 weeks. I then had very light spotting for about two weeks then it got heavier and for the last week and a half have had medium bleeding with horrible cramps (didn’t have much cramping at all before being on cerazette despite heavy bleeding). I am due to have a hysteroscopy next week as they saw a thickened womb lining. I had a polyp removed just before I became pregnant in 2021. Years ago in my 20s I was on microgynon (combined pill) and had no bleeding issues and liked the fact that I knew when my withdrawal bleed was expected so could plan around it. I am now 39 so the gynaecologist said they prefer to prescribe the POP due to stroke risks etc. I’m not overweight / no family history of stroke etc and do not smoke. The nhs website says the only reason to not be on it is if you add ‘over 35 and smoke or have migraines / are overweight etc’ otherwise if healthy it can be taken until menopause. I don’t know whether to stick it out for the full 3 months or just switch at the end of 2 months as I’m not sure how much more of this I can take. I know everyone responds differently and I may find if I go back on the combined pill I react differently to last time as I’m older. I do remember getting sore breasts on microgynon but I could deal with that much more easily than this awful bleeding and cramps plus mood swings. I did stop bleeding completely with noristherone but that is a much higher dose and as soon as I stopped I had horrendous pains and very heavy bleeding like I’ve never ever had before. Any experiences changing back to combined pill due to constant bleeding on mini pill? Sorry for long winded message
