I’ve got a pain in my back mostly towards the left and it’s radiating to my lower left abdomen. It’s a burning pain. Alternatively I’ve a pain in my lower left abdomen that’s radiating to my back.

Nothing helps. I’ve tried ibuprofen, paracetamol, co-codamol (not with paracetamol obviously). It’s not helping. I’ve tried walking, sitting, lying down, cycling. The pain is there but isn’t unbearable when I’m moving about but when I stop and sit or lie down it’s just burning. It’s so painful.

I can’t get in to see the GP but it doesn’t feel severe enough to go to A&E. Pain is probably a 7/10 not the most pain I’ve ever been in but painful enough I can’t totally concentrate on daily activities.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what might help?

I would just call 111, OP, they can connect you with a service once they've assessed your symptoms.

It might help to try a cold or hot compress and see if either of those make a difference. Warm bath perhaps. Might sound strange but I've had pain in that area when I've had a UTI/Ovarian cyst.

If you've any symptoms of either be sure to let them know so a urine test can be arranged.

Hope things improve OP.
