Help - anxious child when travelling and feeling sick?

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and can help.

My 10 year old has suddenly started to be sick when travelling. We’ve recently had a package holiday to Italy. He was sick in the airport, on the plane, on the transfer bus. Instantly fine once we arrived. Ate/drank as normal. Return leg, sick on the transfer, airplane, car home. Had to stay in bed the following day as he was so wiped out.

We’ve had a weekend visiting family this weekend, and he felt sick on the plane, and during the day before both flights.

He doesn’t get car sick. This isn’t always linked to the actual travel, it’s like the anticipation of the travelling. We’ve had a summer holiday abroad most years of his life and never experienced this before.

Any thoughts on what might be going on? It’s like anxiety?

Travel sickness is blooming miserable . My parents never drove , so when we went on holiday - either train , bus or plane , both my mum and I would endure the misery of feeling / being sick throughout the entirety of the journey . My DD began with the ' travel anxiety ' at puberty . She needed a full- on itinerary at all times or she'd start working herself up . As hesitant as I initially was , she took kwells and they've been a game changer to stop the sickness and dissapate the anxiety . Hope you find a solution for your DS . 💐

Trace sickness tablets, bags and wipes and a change of clothes
my youngest can’t even get a bus a few stops without going green! Now I don’t pamper them when they feel travel sick.here’s the bag use it if you have to I have wipes

harsh as it sounds they haven’t actually thrown up for a few months
