Has anyone reported the company they work for, or another company, to HMRC for furlough fraud, or for questionable accounting practices?

Did HMRC do anything about it?

Is it too late to still report furlough fraud?

Yes, an ex employer. They absolutely did deal with it, though it took a while. They kept me updated slightly, too. I’m giving no more details though, sorry.

It is good to know they listen. I want to report someone but I just thought HMRC would be overwhelmed and maybe not deal with reports.

The company involved is also a relatively small company and I wondered if they are only interested in catching bigger fish.

There are specialised teams dealing with furlough compliance. It's high profile within HMRC so will absolutely get looked into.
