How can a man pretend their child doesn’t exist?

He’s never met DC, now 4. I don’t think about it like I used to but sometimes it hits me… he chose that? No other family or DC, not even living with anyone. He’ll be 46 this summer and it just makes my head spin. He’s not high on drugs or struggling to cope, he’s a professional man, which in my mind makes it all the more irresponsible. I’ve been lucky and met someone great but I feel for DC. Strangely they’ve not yet asked about him but I know they will.

My 2 have different dads neither have seen them. The eldest asked and we found him on SM and that was enough. They know it was their dads decision not to be involved.
