What would you do with a child free morning?

My little one is at nursery until 1pm. What would you do?

I used to charge about doing as many jobs as I could before picking them up.
What I should have done was sit in the sun with a cuppa and admire my garden.

I agree - don’t treat it as chore time, it’s you time!

Sleep, but then I'm pregnant with a toddler.

Child free mornings I tend to go to a yoga class then take myself out for breakfast with a book.

Oooh I make myself a big coffee, stick an episode of something my DH doesn't like on the laptop, and then go round the house watching TV and doing jobs at a vvvv leisurely pace. Then when that's done I crack on with my sewing. Sometimes I say fuck the jobs and just do the sewing.

Go back to bed, but my DD is 18 months and still wakes every 2 hours so I'd justify the laziness to myself that way!
