Air Fryer Aficionados I need your help

I am looking to purchase an air fryer and have looked at a few. The Ninja dual makes the most sense to me but it is pricey.

My question is, can you cook more than one item in a single drawer air fryer. For example, if I wanted to cook salmon and roast veg will they fit into a single drawer or do I need the double. Or, do I do the roast veg in the single drawer and cook the salmon on the hob or in the oven, which sort of defeats the reason for buying one.

I feel like I’m missing some obvious knowledge. All tips welcome 😊

I have the ninja foodi not the dual but its a big pot that you can cook whole meals in, I can't see why you couldn't AF salmon and veg together.

Mine has a bottom shelf, then a wire rack underneath. I’d do the veg on the shelf and the salmon on the rack.

Sorry, the rack goes over the shelf, not underneath!

(Not a ninja though)

Ive got a Tower air fryer, and I’d say the basket is the size of a colander.

I’ve have a Dual Max after having a single air fryer for years. I love that you can sync the cooking times so one side starts then the other joins in so that they finish together. So your salmon and veg situation would be best in the Dual. However you can’t fit a pizza in them unless you cut in in half and use both sides (matched setting).

There’s no perfect airfryer, but I am happy-ish with the dual
