Onedrive- help a dummy out please.

How do I know if all the photos on my phone/laptop have saved to one drive? Or how do I get them to? I'm useless at this tech stuff.

And uf they are on onedrive, it's OK to delete them from the device to free up storage?

Test with one photo and see what happens.

Log into Office 365 and go to OneDrive and see what has been saved there.

I have loads (LOADS) of photos on my laptop and phone. The most recent ones on my phone care definitely there, I just worry I'll delete them and they won't all have been saved to onedrive.
