Please can anyone help me find a vintage toy?

So I've seen people describing vague things on here and by some miracle they are found, so I'm hoping it'll be the same for me.

It's just popped into my head a wee toy I had back in the 90's in Ireland that I loved.
I would have got it at a caravan park whilst on holiday I think.

So it was a clear see through plastic house, about 10cm along and maybe 8 high. It had a rounded roof, with a handle on the top for carrying it along. I think the handle was either yellow or pink.

The rounded roof part opened to fold back, hinged at the back, and there were little toys inside, little characters, I think a wee white dog in a begging position seems to stand out? I presume there were other things there, can't remember if it was a vet play set so maybe dog bowls etc. or if it was people with the dog, I do remember there being a number of small items inside this little house.

I have drawn a very quick outline of how I remember it looking, I played with it for quite some time.

Was it a Polly Pocket house?
It sounds similar to the one that my daughter has in the nineties.

It could maybe be, but I don't think so, as the whole house was clear, and all the polly pocket ones are very colourful. It's about the same size range though.

There maybe was some cardboard on the inside of the bottom part to obscure the characters but the cardboard could be taken out. I seem to think there were a few sets to collect.

I think it was likely just a one off shop at a caravan park selling them not a whole big range, would be delighted if anyone could find them!

House was see through and no colour, apart from the wee characters inside.

Very similar to this, only maybe less pink stripes, just plain clear plastic, but this was very similar to the shape. And it had a rounded handle on the roof/lid part.

Was it something by littlest pet shop?

It could well be, not sure if they were around in the 90's? But I would imagine that would be the closest toys around today.

I keep having this image of a wee white dog, tail in the air and front paws and face close to the ground begging and then other wee things for him to play with. Ahh well, I must have dreamt it

They were I had absolutely tons of the sets in the early 90s including some on clear cases but only ones I can find on google with clear cases are for hamsters and turtles haha

There's also puppy in my pocket which were around then too

I know what you're talking about but I can't describe it either. Mine was a sea theme with a mermaid in and a gold star fish no idea what it was 😔

Teenie weenie families? Me and my sister had tons of them, I'm sure some of our sets were clear plastic.

Thank you to everyone for having a think, it's reassuring to know that I maybe didn't make it all up!

I do think that yes there could have been a theme to each collectible box, mine was maybe the puppy one, and there could well have been a mermaid one.

I'll ask my Mum and sister tomorrow to see if they can remember any more, hopefully we can find it!
