London recommendations

Hi all, off to London this week for my first child free hotel stay post children. I am incredibly excited! I have theatre tickets booked and need somewhere to eat on an evening. It's been so long since I've been to London. Could you recommend somewhere Leicester Square/ Covent Garden area? Walking distance to theatreland. More a fan of fancy pub dining and Italian than exotic cuisine and fine dining.

Bocca Di Lupo on Archer st is close to most of the theatres, excellent Italian and you can usually get a spot at the bar if you haven't booked. Worth it to watch the chefs in action. They have a lovely Gelupo place over the road and if you fancy a drink Archer St is good - sometimes they have singers performing; much fun.
