Is this chicken pox?

Is this the start of chicken pox? My LO is 11 months old, just gotten over a cold and ear infection, and noticed these spots today which seem to be spreading??

It's hard to see them. Do they have a definite blister? Chickenpox has a definite blister. My DD had something I thought was Chickenpox (and asking on a mum's FB page others also thought so), but they didn't have a blister. A couple of months later she got CP for real, and they were unmistakeable.

Has LO got any on the trunk?

It is hard to tell from the pictures, however, what I would say is that if it is chicken pox you will know very soon. With both my Dd and Ds I noticed a couple of spots but within 2/3 hours there was loads more appearing. They come up very fast and by that point it's unmistakable that it is chicken pox. My little ones have sensitive skin and camomile lotion was awful for them. There is a spray that was a godsend, just spray it all over, give a quick rub in and soothes them for a while. Should be easy enough to find in boots but I cannot remember the name!

I hope it isn't the chicken pox, but if it is, it's best they get it out of the way when they are younger. My son coped way better than my daughter and he was just a baby when he caught it. Good luck OP! Keep us updated on little one!

My DD gets a little post-viral rash after a cold, just a few spots usually in the same place.

I think it was a false alarm (PHEW). No more spots this morning, they are just like little pimples?

thanks for all your help guys😊

So my little boy is 11 months old and started nursery on Tuesday (he did go in to nursery for a few hours last Thursday too as a visit) I picked him up last night and he was a bit hot and rosy cheeks. On Sunday he had a bit of a temperature but was fine by Monday. I went to put him in the bath last night and he had a lot of spots, these are on his chest, tummy, backs of shoulders and under nappy. this morning there are no more and are no worse but is this chicken pox or something else? He seems fine and it’s not bothering him
