Did good things happen to you after a time of feeling at rock bottom?

I’m pretty low and feel like life has been a struggle the last few months. It’s likely to get worse as I’ve got a lot of upheaval. I can’t remember feeling good or happy. It seems like I will never feel that again. I’m exhausted and just so sad.

Yes, so hang in there. I had a long dark tunnel period and never thought I'd feel joy again. Bad luck and misery kept me down for about three years.

But life did get better, I did need support from antidepressants for a bit, but not now.

I went through 2 years of severe depression and anxiety some time ago now. It finally lifted and I've since met my husband, moved in, gotten engaged and married and we've just found out we're pregnant. It will pass, if you need some help speak to your doctor, I had to crawl to the sink to brush my teeth at one point, now I'm happier than I've ever been. Side note, I was happy before meeting my partner, somehow after coming out of my hard time everything was more beautiful xxx

Yes. After my exh left me I felt extremely low for a long while and that life would never be the same again. I clung on because of the dcs. My life didn't just get back to normal it got far better, better than ever. So hang in there and get the help you need, sometimes that might be calling the Samaritans or getting support from counselling or the GP Flowers

Yep and bad things too. Consequences of the journey down and whole new stresses

thing is they all pass, the bad times and the good times too.

Sounds like you really need to speak to your gp and seek support

Life is a series of ups and downs. And sometimes the downs can be really bad and longlasting. But they have to end, because everything ends.

I hope you can plod your way through until the day that you realise that you feel a little bit better. That's the start of the better times. They will come. x
