What's the most stupid thing you could have easily fixed but didn't?

I was waiting for our kettle to boil this morning as was reminded of when years ago we stayed in a short term rental for three months while we had some water damage fixed.

The kettle there took soooooooo long to boil. I mean, ridiculously long. Maybe even 10+ minutes.

Every time we boiled it, especially before work, we would moan and moan about how long it took and how ridiculous it was.

We could have got a temporary one from Tesco for a tenner, but we didn't! Instead we moaned all day, every day, and still say 'remember that kettle' even now!!

Anyone else so similar, or are we just particularly stupid?!

I remember an old saying someone told me once (can’t remember who it was…) that a “watched kettle never boils”

My weight possibly? I have binge eating disorder and if I had tried to deal with properly 20 years ago I might not be 4 stone overweight now.

I think I need to settle down and decicate myself to some therapy and sensible approaches to my eating.

Me. Right now. Master’s v important essay, I just need to tweak a few things but I’m sooooo tired! I could literally do it in under an hour if I wasn’t procrastinating.

Ahh... that's always a nightmare.

Someone made me feel better by saying 'that's just your process - you always get it done in the end!'.
