We are having to leave 2am ish our flight is very early. Its a lovely beautiful place but not your total holiday resort. Not a long flight but the kids are young. They know and are excited but trying to think of ways of making it easier if we can. Any ideas ?

And when you say not your typical resort, what do you mean?

How old are the children?

Snacks, magazines, iPads, buggies if small. . We’ve done short and long haul with small kids. It’s all very doable. If they can understand let them know how you expect them to behave, they generally comply

MN is full of parents who will say it’s a nightmare etc yet I’ve seen so many families do it in a relatively stress free way

Leave home? How far do you live? How early is the flight?

I would stay in an airport hotel if it's saves a few hours.
