HRT and insulin

Hi, firstly I’ve put this in chat not menopause as my last post got very few responses so apologies if this annoys anyone.

I am hoping there are other insulin dependent diabetics on here who could give me their experiences with starting hrt. I’m type 2 diabetic, on insulin for the last 18 months. I started the hrt patch Evorel conti last week. Since then my blood sugars are dropping very fast. Within an hour of injecting and eating I was back down into the 5’s and feeling low. This is not normal for me, quite the opposite. I wasn’t really given much info as to what to expect with the hrt. Has anyone else found hrt has had a significant, and rapid effect on their blood sugar levels? Is this normal? Any advice? Thanks for reading.
