What is the most spontaneous thing you have ever done?

So its my birthday in a week. Its a big one that ends in 0.

I want to do something spontaneous but I need some inspiration. I am thinking of rowing lessons as my Dad gave me some birthday money.

Moved to Asia after a break up when I was 21. Within a month of being dumped, I was on a plane with a job and home to go to. The experience changed my life. Thanks dickhead for dumping me!

Most spontaneous thing I ever did was pack in a job I hated and moved to another city where I barely knew anyone when I was 21 - still here 20+ years later 😊

Probably not the kind of thing you could do for your birthday though!

Most of them involved talking to random strangers who ended up being friends or partners! Booking various activities like a kayaking weekend or walking weekend on my own. Writing week. All resulted in ace memories and new friends.

Bought a new house on a trip to Tesco to get the weekly shop once, turned out to be a great decision.

Most recent mega spontaneous things we booking the night before to take DS to Disneyland paris for the day. 6am flight out 7pm flight back, both shattered but had a really amazing day and he will remember it forever!

Booked flights to Sri Lanka solo.
