Thermal door curtain - eyelet or pencil pleat more effective?

Hi,
Am looking to buy a thermal door curtain for new front door (although is composite and seems warm enough) and a pair of them for the patio doors in the kitchen.
Q1 - lots are the silver eyelet types - surely these let the cold in and escape upwards?

Q2 - is it worry getting an equivalent for the big kitchen window? Currently there are white wooden Venetians. I could put a Roman blind over the top?

Thank you - just worrying about winter bills!

Eyelets better than nothing though I'd agree pencil pleat better as fuller and would trap more air in between.
Not sure about Roman blinds over Venetian- curtains would be better

If you get pencil pleat, get some thermal liners for them.
I have eyelet on the landing and on the dining room doors into the conservatory and they're not great tbh.

We also have a composite (rock) door - it surprised me how much draught blows in at the hinges. Shock
