Good Morning Mumsnet! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just finishing my first cuppa of the day then I'll make a coffee to take up with me while I get dressed.

We're off to the market - there's a young traders market on today, so I thought we could have a wander there. We'll head to our usual fruit stall today too, to top up our fruit selection.

I have nothing else planned, for a change! I'm painting my way through some story props & repairs on some I already painted, but have the summer hols to work on them!

Later on; dd1 will probably carry on watching The Gilmore Girls, dd2 will probably Minecraft with her friend & I might pick up my crochet...or I might start a new project altogether 🤔 not sure which yet.

Leftover takeaway for tea 😋 & probably fruit and nice ice cream for afters.

I have walked the dog and now I need to get off the sofa and pack my bag for the gym.

I’ve been up since 6.30 so I’m not sure why I’m now in danger of being late for my class at 10, and yet here we are!

It’s raining here 😞.

DD is in her room playing Barbies, DS is in his room playing on his Xbox.

Ive just got out of the shower, having a coffee and then I’ll get ready and potter around, hopefully it will dry up later and we can go to the park.

The kids are with their dad this evening so I’ll be having something nice for tea and looking for something to watch on Netflix

Unpacking following the DC having been to one set of grandparents. Repacking for them to go to the other grandparent 😁

Tidying ready for neighbours coming over later and pretending that the resulting only-slight-chaos is how our house looks always with no effort, rather than having taken some solid cleaning time to upgrade it from the usual maximum chaos level.

Busy rugby day here, all my rugby tots sessions for this morning are fully booked (attendance really varies in the school holidays), then I have rugby training later as does my son. Then I’m running a try rugby session.

My husband went to see Lady Gaga last night and went for “a few drinks” afterwards, so he is most likely going to die at baby sensory this morning.

No plans later really, I’ll probably end up at the park at some point, but a lazy evening really. I do have a few new shirts of my husbands that need some velcro sewing on, so I might that done. If we feel like it later/if MrSJT is still alive me may watch uncoupled on netflix when the smalls are asleep.

Well, it is Saturday again:
DH has done the food shop for next week and is preparing 'Mittag' (2nd meal of the day is the main meal, the cooked one)
I am in the middle of the cleaning, laundry and ironing.
On the fun side:
We have finally had a new cooker/oven installed, so I will have to bake a trial cake.
We need to repot some plants. DD wants to reseal the shower
And then there is the final.

Just back from swimming lessons, done ds' second breakfast, washing & food shopping next, then I'll pack a picnic and we'll go cycling.

Feet up later when we get back. 🍸

I'm finishing my first cup of tea, trying to get motivated to shower and get ready to take DS's to an archaeology festival. It will be fab in all fairness but didn't sleep well (keep having vivid dreams/waiting for outcome of job interview) so feel a bit grumpy. Folding washing when we get back, kids will go on tech. Then glass of wine with Mr Knud later and hopefully finding something new on Netflix. Finally finished Stranger Things last night (no spoilers I promise lol) so need something to fill the gap.

Meeting a friend for coffee and taking her toddler to the park, he was a surprise lockdown baby when she was 41 :) we know each other because our sons were at school, they are both 21. Being a Mum taxi to drop off DS at a party tonight and collect him. DH is away at his Mums. Am going to watch a film and then team up with a couple, of mates on a big adventure online playing Minecraft.

I was supposed to be getting ready for a lunch date. But typically all of a sudden last night he developed toothache and now can't make it. Prick .

A very quiet start to the day here, everything I had planned is outside but it’s raining so taking the hoover out to clean the cars and then the electric hedge trimmer isn’t such a good idea! I might go to the garden centre instead.

Later this afternoon the rest of the house will return from their week away camping, all tired and grumpy and with bags full of dirty laundry, I really need it to be dry tomorrow but the forecast isn’t looking very promising atm.

At work just now on a break. Busy day ahead. Feel tired already.

Quiet night planned for me and DD tomorrow because we have a big day out tomorrow. Maybe some nice snacks and a movie.

DH and DS are away for the weekend.

The kids are out for the day with friends so DH and I have the day free. We're going to do DIY things around the house (well, I am; he'll probably just mooch around all day poking at things but not actually achieving anything).
