Do thermal curtain work, and any good ones out there?

We live in rented accommodation, (family member) the house is freezing in winter, the lounge attaches to the conservatory which is a nightmare, as has lots of windows through to it.

They have said we could have some thermal curtains to put up.

Does anyone know if these actually work and can anyone recommend any?

Ordinary lined curtains make a difference.

I bought Habitat blackout/ thermal curtains from Argos and they've made a huge difference .

You can also just pin fleece blankets to the window side of the existing curtains

Dunelm do thermal linings that fit behind your regular curtains which have been great for us

Julian Charles online do them and often have a sale.

Yes they do. Either black out liners to add to your existing curtains or thermal curtains if you don't have any (works out cheaper). Make sure you have ones over your front and back doors too. I got ours from dunelm.
