Mattress toppers

The mattress in our caravan is too soft and I was wondering if it’s possible to make it firmer using a mattress topper? Or am I missing the point and they are there to make the bed even softer!

If this is possible I’d be really grateful for some recommendations. Thanks

I had the same quandary and the Internet is so confusing in this topic. I have a too soft simba mattress, I bought a thick topper. It has helped. It's still not firm, but it is better.

I’m also finding the internet isn’t really helping, and some of toppers are so pricy I really wanted advice from people who’ve tried it before investing.

Which topper did you get?

Our main mattress is a simba and the topper is silent night, the thickest one. It is still softer than we like, and I couldn't find any toppers that weren't memory foam that also had good ratings, but its definitelyan improvement that was worth the cost. If you do find a super firm topper please post it!

Will do. I’m not really a fan of memory foam so this is also likely to hamper my search.

I'm not a fan either, although my back greatly improved.
